Abstract
The aim of this study was uilize Jarropha oil to decreased rumen fermentation gas in vitro. A completely randonized design with 4 treatments and S replication of treatment as ; rice strow without addition extract of Jatropha seed (control) (Po), onggok without the addition exract of Jarropha seed extract (Pi, rice stow and given addition of Jarropha seed extract (Pz), onggok with additional Jatropha extract (Ps). The observed parameters were dry matter digestibility (KCBK), organic matter digestibility (KCBO), NHs-N concentration, and gas production. The result showed that highest KCBK was on onggok given the addition of Jatropha seed extract (57,56%). The highest gas production and N-NHswere the rice strow treatment without the addition of Jatropha seed extract (Po). However, reduction of gas production by the addition of Jarropha seed oils suppressed the digestibility coefficients of dry matter (KCBK) that Po (23,84%), P/ (43,38%), P2 (18,81%) and Ps (57,56%).
