Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to see and investigate three types of supplies Siguntang pharmacies which will be useful for management to create and plan the Analysis of Activity Based Costing (ABC) and Method of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). This research represents descriptive research. Type of data that used in this research is primary dand Secondary data.There are sales data, purchasing data, and expired data at siguntang pharmacies Palembang. Data analysis method is the ABC analysis and EOQ method that applied to forms of descriptive. The results showed that the effectiveness of the management of the company's inventory is not quite good enough already. An order of goods on Pharmacies Siguntang is often only by phone, letter of introduction which is held by one person is head of the logistics (procurement) to purchase goods and consignees as well as and because companies often experience shortages even run out of supplies, and often have excess inventory that resulted in the buildup and damage to merchandise inventory Because of that, this pharmacies should flirther enhance the company more control over inventory, among others, by using a mathematical calculation on the purchase of an economical (EOQ).
