Abstract

Persaingan antar pengusaha keripik pisang di Gang PU kota Bandar Lampung menjadi alasan peneliti untuk membahas proses dan kendala pemberdayaan pengusaha keripik pisang dalam pengembangan ekonomi kreatif di Gang PU kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif yang melalui data deskriptif dengan unit analisis individu di dalam suatu kelompok. Penentuan dengan berjumlah 11 informan guna memperoleh informasi secara akurat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Strategi yang digunakan adalah strategi dekripstif kualitatif yang menggambarkan kondisi atau situasi di lapangan. Proses pemberdayaan para pengusaha keripik pisang ini dilakukan oleh beberapa pihak instansi, yakni PTPN 7 dan Disperindag berupa motivasi, bantuan pinjaman modal, dan pelatihan. Dari proses pemberdayaan itu, para pengusaha keripik pisang mendapat pengetahuan yang bisa diterapkan untuk mengembangkan usahanya dan mampu lebih kreatif lagi dalam menciptakan jenis atau rasa makanan lainnya sehingga menghasilkan ekonomi kreatif. Tidak hanya itu, para pengusaha mengalami berbagai kendala dalam menjalani usahanya, meliputi bahan baku, pemasaran, dan tenaga kerja, tetapi kendala tersebut masih bisa diatasi.
