Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability (ROA), firm size (Size), and asset structure (Asset Structure) on the capital structure (DER) in minning sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained through the company's financial statements. The population in this study were all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2015-2019. 11 companies are used as the sample of this study thourgh purposive sampling method and the analytical technique used is multiple linear analysis using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that Return on Assets (ROA) has a negative and significant effect on the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Asset Structure has a positive and significant effect on the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Firm Size (Size) has no significant effect on the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER).
