Abstract

Infrastructure development carried out by government or private construction companies is one of the most important steps in developing and improving the economy in Indonesia. Construction work is a type of work with a high risk of work accidents and results in losses, especially for workers. This condition has an impact on the quality, performance, and productivity of the company's work. Construction companies must be more serious in implementing OHS values and policies in the work area. This aims to minimize the occurrence of work accidents that continue to increase in construction work. The purpose of this research is to identify any OHS policy factors that affect the performance of construction employees and analyze the dominant factors that influence the performance of construction employees. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach, and primary data obtained through questionnaires. Based on the research, it is known that there are five factors that influence the performance of construction employees, namely Top Management Commitment, OHS Rules and Procedures, Worker Engagement and Communication, Worker Competence, and Work Environment. And it is known that the dominant factor influencing the performance of construction employees is the supervision of the implementation of OHS in construction companies.
