Abstract

This research is a research that uses quantitative descriptive method with the aim of knowing the relationship between peer support variables and learning saturation in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The population in this study were 325 students with the sampling using the "Random Sampling" technique, which was taken at random with a total of 80 students. The subjects involved in the research were Guidance and Counseling Students, FKIP Sriwijaya University. This research is a quantitative research with correlational analysis. The data collection technique used is the peer support scale and the learning saturation scale. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Product Moment correlation formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence and learning motivation rcount > rtable (-0.0660 > 0.220) it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient is included in the strong category. Peer support contributes to student learning saturation by 43.5% and the remaining 56.5% is determined by other factors outside of peer support variables such as internal factors (physical and psychological conditi-ons), external factors (environment and infrastructure) and other factors.
