Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas hubungan antara efikasi diri multikultural dengan komunikasi yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 12 Palembang dan SMP Negeri 32 Palembang, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis korelasional dimana analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara efikasi diri multikultural dengan aprehensi komunikasi siswa. Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hubungan keduanya ialah metode analisis korelasi Spearman rank correlation coefficient dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri multikultural dengan aprehensi komunikasi siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari koefisien korelasi kedua variabel sebesar - 0,067 pada SMP Negeri 12 Palembang dan 0,11 pada SMP Negeri 32 Palembang dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,41 dan 0,147. Hal ini menunjukkan hipotesis penelitian ini ditolak (Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel efikasi diri multikultural tidak ada hubungan dengan aprehensi komunikasi yang dimiliki siswa.
