Abstract

Elections are one of the most important aspects of democracy in Indonesia. Currently, elections in Indonesia are still conducted offline. However, during a pandemic like the current election, it will be difficult to hold. E-Democracy can provide an alternative in the implementation of elections in Indonesia. E-Democracy in the election process can be implemented by means of E-Voting. E-voting allows elections to be held online. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the most appropriate e-democracy model to be used in Indonesia and to provide recommendations for one form of e-democracy implementation in the form of e-voting in the implementation of democracy in Indonesia, especially in the election later. The research was conducted using a literature study method with a qualitative approach, accompanied by quantitative data collection using a questionnaire. The design of the e-voting system for the election itself is done by designing ERD and DFD along with making UI designs that are interacted using Invision Studio. So from this research, the final results will be in the form of an e-voting design for elections in Indonesia and a small prototype for e-voting itself.
