Abstract
In this study designed an ARM processor based ball detection system on the balldribble robot. The result of this study is that ball objects can be detected using a webcam camera using Color Filtering techniques, RGB to HSV conversion and Thresholding with Raspberry Pi interface System. The image resize test result is 320 x 240 pixels, the hue value in the range 0-12, the saturation value in the range 152-255, the value value in the range 128-255, and the number of pixel balls in the range 4700 to 4730. The value of the test results can also be influenced by the different light intensity, a place that has a lighter intensity of light affects the color of the ball and vice versa. From the test results that the system has done can function properly, if the ball object is detected by the camera then the ball object will be in the sign by the robotic arm.
