Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of the Improve learning model on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang. This research is an experimental type of research that uses a Pre Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest Postest Design. The population in this study were all X social class at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang. The sample of this study used Cluster Random Sampling, and the selected sample was X IPS 2 class as the experimental class with a total of 40 students. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests, learning process using Google meet. The hypothesis using parametric statistics is ttest related sample test and obtained tcount 25.316 1.665 ttable, then the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Improve learning model on student learning outcomes in economic subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang. It is expected to apply the improve learning model as an alternative learning in learning activities in the classroom considering that it has a positive influence on problem solving abilities.
