Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of Air Conditioning (AC) with power 1 PK, to know the effect of COP (Coefficient of performance) with variation of regulator valve opening. The data obtained during the test air conditioner use some measuring equipment, such as Thermometer, Presseur gauge, refrigerant (digital), Manifold gauge, Vacuum pump, Leak Detector, Compressor. The result of COP pressure data on the influence of valve opening, From the calculation of COP with R-410-A refrigerant, the opening speed of the regulator valve 1/4 value is 5.11, the valve opening 2/4 value is 5.89, the valve opening 3/4 value is 7 , 43, 4/4 valve opening value 10.09. For the calculation of R22 refrigerant with the opening valve 1/4 value 4.55, valve openings 2/4 value 5.1, valve opening 3/4 value 6.45, 4/4 valve opening value 7.33. From the calculation of COP on refrigerant R-410-A higher in comparison with COP refrigerant R-22. From this it shows that R-410-A refrigerant consumes a low energy in comparison with R-22 refrigerant for the same cooling power absorption for desired.
