Abstract

PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Palembang branch was a State Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in ship service which has implemented an information systems, called SIMOPEL (Port Operating Management Information System) that can helps to expedite the serviced process. The use of the information system was confronted with risks that might disrupts the business process of the company, in order to anticipate the likelihood of the occurrence of such risks, risk management is performed. The risk management in this study used FMEA(Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) methodology, which is the methodology used to identify and evaluate potential failures, determine the risk level of failure and priority scale to take the necessary action. This thesis produces Risk Register, which is a list of risk analysis that can be used as a reference by Division Information System of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Pesero) Palembang Branch in overcoming the risks.
