Abstract
The research about the influence of variation hydrogen flow rate to physical characteristic of hydrocracking curcas oil product with catalyst Mozeolite natural active has been done. Hydrocracking process of curcas oil were conducted with variation of hydrogen flow rate 0.5; 1; 1.5; 2; 2.5; 3 dan 3.5 mL/min, temperature 350°C and catalyst weight 1.5 g. Hydrocracking product of curcas oil were analysed include combustion heat, density, viscosity and reffaction index by using bomb calorimeter, picnometer, Ostwald viscometer and reffactometer instrument. The result of this research showed that the optimum of combustion heat, density, viscosity and refraction index in a row was 53.6173 kJ/g; 0.9695 g/mL; 3.1461 poise; 1.4687 which operated at 3.5 mL/min of hydrogen flow rate. According to combustion heat, density, viscosity and refraction index optimum value, hydrocracking product direct to biodiesel.
