Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar merkuri pada ikan sebarau di Sungai Rupit dan menentukan distribusi merkuri pada berbagai organ Ikan Sebarau. Analisis kadar merkuri pada ikan sebarau {Hampala Macrolepidota Sp) dilakukan menggunakan metode Spektrometri Serapan Atom Uap Dingin (CV-AAS) sistem batch. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bioakumulasi merkuri pada daging ikan sebarau meningkat mulai dari lokasi hulu, tengah dan hilir Sungai Rupit. Selain itu, kadar merkuri pada organ hati lebih tinggi dibanding organ insang dan daging. Kadar rata-rata merkuri pada organ hati, insang dan daging berturut-turut yakni 6,44 mg/kg, 4,44 mg/kg dan 4,09 mg/kg.
