Abstract
This research aimed to determine the effect of Outdoor Learning Model on the ability to write poetry students of the fifth class SD Negeri 25 Indralaya. This research uses quasi experimental research method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The population in this study were all high school students of SD Negeri 25 Indralaya and the sample consisted of two classes namely VB class numbered 24 students as experiment class and VA class amounted to 23 students as control class taken with purpose sampling. Technique of collecting data used is test. From the calculation result, it is found that the average of Pretest class of experiment and control class is 50,20 and 49,78. While the average value of Posttest experimental class and control class is 68,95 and 57,61. Data analysis using t-Polled Variance test with 5% significant level and got result tcount> ttable that is 2,29 > 2.01 so that Ho refused and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of Outdoor Learning Model influence on the ability to write poetry students of class V SD Negeri 25 Indralaya.
