Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rinosinusitis merupakan inflamasi pada mukosa hidung (rinitis) dan sinus paranasal (sinusitis) yang memiliki dua atau lebih gejala seperti obstruksi atau keluarnya sekret hidung disertai ada atau tidaknya nyeri dan terganggunya kemampuan penghidu. Gejala yang hilang dalam waktu < 12 minggu disebut akut, sedangkan gejala yang muncul selama > 12 minggu disebut kronik. Sebuah jurnal pada tahun 2020 mendapatkan prevalensi RSK di USA mencapai 12,3%, di Eropa sebesar 10,9% dan di China sebesar 13%. Sebelumnya sudah ada penelitian yang sama pada tahun 2019 sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi RSK di RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang periode 2019-2020 lebih lanjut. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif dengan desain potong lintang. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa rekam medis pasien yang tidak mengalami RSK berulang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling lalu diolah dalam bentuk tabel dan penyajiannya akan dijabarkan dalam bentuk narasi. Hasil: Prevalensi dari RSK sebesar 73,94% dengan total 88 subjek. Pasien terbanyak pada kelompok usia 37-47 dan 48-58 tahun (21,6%), lebih banyak pada laki-laki (52,3%) dengan perbandingan 1,09:1, gejala keluhan paling banyak pada pasien rinosinusitis kronik berupa obstruksi nasal (97,7%), klasifikasi paling banyak merupakan RSK primer (52,3%). Kesimpulan: Angka kejadian RSK di KSM RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang pada periode 2019-2020 sebesar 73,94%. Pasien terbanyak pada kelompok usia 37-47 dan 48-58 tahun, lebih banyak pada laki-laki, gejala keluhan paling banyak pada pasien rinosinusitis kronik berupa obstruksi nasal, dan klasifikasi terbanyak pada RSK primer. Kata kunci: RSK, Angka kejadian, Prevalensi, Rinosinusitis Kronik Background: Rhinosinusitis is an inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis) and paranasal sinuses (sinusitis) which has two or more symptoms such as obstruction or nasal discharge accompanied by pain or not and impaired olfaction. Symptoms that disappear within < 12 weeks are called acute, while symptoms that appear for > 12 weeks are called chronic. A journal in 2020 found that the prevalence of CRS in the USA (12.3%), Europe (10.9%) and China (13%). Previously there was a similar study in 2019 so this study aims to determine the prevalence of CRS in Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital Palembang period 2019-2020 further. Method: This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The data used is secondary data in the form of medical records of patients who do not experience recurrent CRS. Using the total sampling method and then processed in the form of a table and the presentation will be described in the form of a narrative. Results: The prevalence of CRS is 73.94% with a total of 88 subjects. Most patients in the age group 37-47 and 48-58 years (21.6%), more in men (52.3%) with a ratio of 1.09:1, the most common symptom in CRS is nasal obstruction (97.7%), the most common classification is primary CRS (52,3%). Conclusion: The incidence of CRS in the 2019-2020 period was 73.94%. Most patients in the age group 37-47 and 48-58 years, more in men, the most common symptom and classification is nasal obstruction and primary CRS.
