Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavior of the Panca Desa community in Banyuasin Regency in dealing with the COVID-19 pandmic, this study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, sampling using a non-probability sampling technique with quota sampling type. The population in this study amounted to 1234 people with samples taken using quota sampling so that the number of samples wa 200 people. Data were collected using dokumentation and questionnaire techniques for analysis using questionnaire data which was processed using the relative frequency formula. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the behavior of the Panca Desa community in Banyuasin Regency in facing the COVID-19 pandemic is positive. This is evident in the responses of respondents who show positive criteria behavior both in terms of knowledge, attitude, practice, people practice health protocols, sort out informasion obtained about the pandemic, do positive things to avoid feeling uncomfortable after receiving information about COVID-19 and not feeling stressed after receiving information about the COVID-19 pandemic.
