Abstract

This study aims to find out how to develop an animated video learning media based on the Adobe After Effects application on temperature and heat material for class V SD Negeri 1 Pandan Agung (OKU Timur). The research uses the development method, with the ADDIE model and this research has only reached the third stage, namely development. Data collection techniques are interviews. Questionnaire (Questionnaire), Expert validation. The results of this study indicate that product development is carried out by validating 3 validators, namely media experts, material experts and teachers. then test the product to students by doing the first 2 stages to 6 students and the second stage to 10 students. With the results of media validation obtained 90% which is categorized as "very valid" and from material experts obtained 90.90% which is categorized as "very valid" for use. Meanwhile, from the teacher's questionnaire obtained 100% which is categorized as "very valid" is used in learning. Based on the results of observations and interviews that students feel bored because the learning process is too monotonous so that it makes learning less interesting, and this also happens during face-to-face learning and distance learning.
