Abstract

The development of scientific-based printed teaching materials in class IV production materials of SD Negeri 68 Palembang aims to find out the level of validity and practicality of the use of teaching material products developed by researchers. The type of research used is development research with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). This research only reaches the third stage or development, then produces the final product. The validity of teaching materials is obtained from the validation of material experts, media experts, and classroom teacher practitioners. The material expert validation value is 3.05 (highly valid), the media expert validation value is 3.75 (highly valid), the teacher practitioner validation value is grade 3.93 (very valid). Practicality of use was obtained from the results of trials to 18 class IV learners in SD Negeri 68 Palembang which was conducted with three stages. The average value obtained is 100% which belongs to the category "very practical". From these results, it can be said that scientifically based teaching materials in the material of the approximation are worthy of use as teaching materials to convey learning materials in school. In the future, it is expected that the teaching materials made can be used as an alternative learning resource for grade IV elementary school.
