Abstract
This study aims to determine how academic resilience in students is based on learning achievement at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. This research is a quantitative descriptive research by displaying data in the form of percentage numbers. The population in this study were students of class XII science at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, totaling 213 students. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method with the type of sampling on the basis of a specific purpose in this case, namely based on student achievement. The data collection technique used is the academic resilience scale. The results of this study indicate academic resilience in high achieving students, there are as many as 13% in the low category, 73% in the medium category and 13% in the high category. Then for students who have low learning achievement, there are as many as 60% in the low category, 37% in the medium category and 3% in the high category. Based on learning achievement, students with high academic achievement have more academic resilience which is 10% higher than students with low academic achievement. The results of the t-Test test obtained a sig score. (2-tailed) 0.00, which means that there is a significant difference between the academic resilience of high achieving students and the academic resilience of low achieving students.
