Abstract

This study is aiming at improving the learning outcomes for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 16 Indralaya Utara using a model of the power of two on the Themes Care for Living Things. This study used a classroom action research method which was carried out for three cycles. Each of the cycle stage includes planning, applying, observing and reflecting. Based on the result and discussion of this study, it was found that in the first cycle 11 people out of 18 students got a value ≥ 70, then in the second cycle have increased 14 people out of 18 students get a value ≥ 70. Furthermore, in the third cycle 18 people out of 18 students get a value ≥ 70. Based on the results described it can be said that though the application of the power of two model can improve student learning outcomes of students. In the future, it is expected to be able to use the power of two model as an alternative in the learning process.
