Abstract
Muhammad Arif Harahap.Performance Test of Plant Watering System Using Solar Panel with Lithium Battery 18650(Supervised by ENDO ARGO KUNCORO). This study aims to determine the performance of a plant watering system using an 18650 lithium battery with the addition of a 50 WP polycrystalline solar panel. This research was conducted from April 2021 to August 2021 at the Workshop Machine Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Indralaya Campus, Sriwijaya University. The method applied in this research is a descriptive method. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the design and testing stages of the tool. Research data is presented in the form of tables and graphs. Parameters measured include sunlight intensity, maximum solar panel efficiency, battery resistance and water discharge. From the measurement results, the largest power value produced is 113.27 Watt. The maximum efficiency of polycrystalline solar panels is actually 22,65% in the field after being measured. In battery life testing, the average battery can be used within 3 hours with the pump load running Keywords: Watering System , Solar Panel, Lithium Battery
