Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of the use of multimedia camtasia in learning activities on student learning outcomes in the fourth graders statistical material at Public Elementary School number 11 Tanjung Lago. This research used a quasi-experimental method with the type of One-Group-Pretest-Posttest. The sample of research consisted of 28 fourth graders. The instruments were a test pretest-posttest and observation sheets. Analysis of the data this research by normality test and hypothesis testing. The average value of the pretest was 33,25 and the posttest was 57,54. The results of the pretest and posttest were normally distributed with value of 2,57 and 5,35 at a significant level of 0,05 and of 11,1. Calculation of the hypothesis using the t-test and obtained of 8,27 at a significant level of 0,05 and of 2,05. The data shows that the use of multimedia camtasia in learning activities has a significant effect indicated by the value of. It is recommended for teachers to use camtasia as an alternative supporting media in explaining the material during learning activities. And for other researchers, it is hoped that it can be a reference when continuing this research.
