Abstract

Pembangunan 1000 km jalan tol Sumatera tidak memiliki rute langsung ke Sumatera Barat. Pengendara yang berasal dari selatan pulau Sumatera harus menuju tol Palembang – Pekanbaru lalu ke tol Pekanbaru – Padang. Hal ini menyebabkan jalan nasional yang menghubungkan Palembang-Jambi-Dharmasraya akan masih menjadi salah satu pilihan jalur yang dilewati pengendara yang berkunjung ke Sumatera Barat. Sumatera Barat memiliki banyak sekali potensi wisata yang ada di kabupaten�kabupaten kecil maupun kota-kota besar yang tidak terekspos dengan baik, selain itu Sumatera Barat juga memiliki keunikan adat istiadat, ragam kuliner, kesenian, dan sebagainya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya tempat beristirahat sementara yang dapat mempromosikan wisata, budaya, dan produk lokal pada Kabupaten Dharmasraya ini. Integrated Rest Area yang pada dasarnya memiliki 4 fungsi utama yaitu tempat beristirahat, sarana menaikan ekonomi warga lokal, promosi budaya dan wisata daerah, serta pemanfaatan ruang pada jalan nasional akan menjadi solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Untuk memaksimalkan pengenalan budaya Sumatera Barat kepada pengendara yang singgah, Integrated Rest Area dapat mengenalkan budaya dari pendekatan bentuk bangunan dan suasana pada area kawasannya. Hal ini diterapkan dengan penerapan konsep arsitektur Rumah Gadang (rumah adat Sumatera Barat) pada bangunan dan kawasannya. Kata Kunci: Dharmasraya, Rest Area, Integrated, Sumatera Barat The construction of the 1000 km Sumatra toll road does not have a direct route to West Sumatra. Drivers from the south of Sumatra island must head to the Palembang - Pekanbaru toll road and then to the Pekanbaru - Padang toll road. This causes the national road that connects Palembang-Jambi-Dharmasraya will still be one of the preferred paths for riders who visit West Sumatra. West Sumatra has a lot of tourism potential in small regencies and big cities that are not exposed properly, besides that West Sumatra also has unique customs, culinary variety, arts, and etc. Therefore, it is necessary to have a temporary resting place that can promote tourism, culture, and local products in Dharmasraya Regency. The Integrated Rest Area, which basically has 4 main functions, namely a place to rest, a means of increasing the economy of local residents, promotion of regional culture and tourism, and utilization of space on national roads will be a solution to solve existing problems. To maximize the introduction of West Sumatra culture to drivers who stop by, the Integrated Rest Area can introduce culture from the approach to building forms and the area. This is applied by applying the architectural concept of Rumah Gadang (West Sumatra traditional house) to the building and the area. Keywords: Dharmasraya, Rest Area, Integrated, Sumatera Barat
