Abstract

This study aims to determine the design, validity, and product development of teaching materials based on Rambang's local wisdom in sub-theme 1 of the environment where I live. This study uses a development research method with the ADDIE model with the stages used until stage 3, namely development. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students with a sample of 6 people and the object of research was teaching materials based on local wisdom Rambang in grade IV SDN 4 Rambang District with the theme 8 sub-theme 1 the environment where I live. Data collection techniques are documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it shows that teaching materials based on local wisdom Rambang (Pagar Agung) produce teaching materials or textbooks that have met the valid components to be used, and are proven by the level of validity of the Valid category. This is based on the results of the validation test from 2 expert lecturers, class teachers and fourth grade students. For the results of field trials, an average score of 90% was obtained in the valid category and for the results of limited trials conducted on fourth grade students, an average score of 92.5% was obtained in the valid category, so regarding the product of teaching materials based on local wisdom. Rambang on sub-theme 1, the environment where I live is feasible and valid to be used as a learning resource and teaching material made according to the learning material in the thematic book.
