Abstract

Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes Bengkulu and Lampung is the work unit of Bengkulu and Lampung areas, where previously Bengkulu and Lampung areas are under the Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxes of South Sumatra (Regional Office of DGT Sumbagsel) based in Palembang. Number of Business Classification that must be supervised make tax revenue at Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxes Bengkulu and Lampung not meet the target. To that end, it is designed an application that implements the concept of data mining using the K-Means method to classify which Business Field Classification is potential. The data used as a sample in this study is the data of 2012 until 2014. By doing the calculation of the number of taxpayers and the amount of payment. The result is an illustration showing which Classification is potential, potentially enough, and potentially less.
