Abstract
This research aimed at knowing the significsnt effect of economic literacy toward student consumptive behavior of online shopping at Economic Education of Sriwijaya University. The sampling technique used in this research is simple random sampling obtained a samples of 68 students from all member population of 211 students. Questionnaires and documentation were the techniques of collecting the data. This research is a quantitative research associative data analysis techniquws used are pearson product moment and simple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant and negative effect (opposite direction) to the consumptive behavior of online shopping ini Economic Education students at Sriwijaya University by 7,97%. So if the higher the level of economic literacy possessed by students, it will affect the low consumer behavior of online shopping in Economic Education students at Sriwijaya University. The result of the pearson product moment the test the hypotehesis using t-test obtained tobserved > ttable 2,388 > 1,668, then ha was accepted and ho was rejected. The result of simple regression analysis obtaines the equation Y = 32,583 + 0,7025X, the equation can be interpreted that without the influence of literacy economics, student consumptive behavior is 32,583 units. Economic literacy have a regression coefficient of 0,7025 meaning that if there is an increase in literacy 1 point of economy, consumptive behavior will increase by 0,7025.
