Abstract

This study aims to find out how to manage the budget of the Setia Kawan Multipurpose Cooperative, South Sumatra Province in 2021. The background of this research is that the planned loan budget target does not match in accordance with the realization in the field, this is because many cooperative members experience congestion and reduced cooperative members resulting in the budget cooperatives are not yet optimal, therefore it is necessary to examine the Budget Management of the Setia Kawan Multipurpose Cooperative of South Sumatra Province in 2021. This study uses a qualitative research method using Rahardjo Adisasmita's Theory which consists of three components, namely, planning, implementation, and. Based on data analysis and budget management interviews, it is clear that the way the budget is managed is carried out in a budgetary function but in principle the budget cannot be implemented in full. The results of this study suggest that the principles of the budget such as: transparency and accountability, discipline, fairness, efficiency and effectiveness and are prepared with a performance approach.
