Abstract

The objective of this research was study the effect at commercial feed restriction on performance of 42 day old Broilers. The research was conducted , at Animal Nutrition, faculty at Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, South Sumatera, From February to March 2008. A Completely Randomized Design was used with 4 treatment and 5 replications. The treatments were K0 (control 100%), K1 (97,5%), K2 (95%) and K3 (95%). The parameters were feed intake, weight gain, feed convertion, and carcass. The result of this research indicated that feed restriction significantly affected feed intake (P<0,01).But no significantly effcted weight gain, feed convertion, and carcass. The research can be concluded that feed restriction hadno affected the performance of Broiler.
