Abstract

This development research aims to produce learning products in the form of mind mapping based multimedia on the meaning of the opening material of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, which is valid, practical, and effective. This development research uses the ASSURE model that is modified with formative evaluation from Tessmer which stages the activities, including analysis of student characteristics, setting learning objectives, selecting material, methods and learning media, designing and developing learning products. Evaluation of learning products uses Tessmer's formative evaluation whose activity stages include selft evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field tests. Data collection techniques using documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. To find out the validity of mind-based multimedia media on expert review activities involving material experts, linguists, and media experts. The average score of material validation was 4.7, including the very valid category, the average language validation score was 4.2, including the valid category, and the average media validation score was 4.1, including the valid category, while knowing the practicality of the mutimedia based mind mapping in one to one evaluation activities, the average student assessment score of 4.5 included in the category of very practical, and in small group evaluation activities, the average student assessment score of 4.5 included in the category of very practical. Then to find out the effectiveness of mind maping-based multimedia on field test activities, the average student assessment of 84.2% is included in the excellent category.
