Abstract

The research was to define The Effect Of Lysine Supplementation On The Performance Of Arabian (Silver Brakel Kriel) Chick Starter Phase. This research conducted from April to December at Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul dan Ayam Sembawa Banyuasin. The Completely Randomized Design was used in this research. The level of was lysine that is L0 (100% basal diet), L1 (100% basal diet + 0,01% lysine), L2 (100% basal diet + 0,015% lysine), L3 (100% basal diet + 0,02% lysine), L4 (100% basal diet + 0,025% lysine) each treatments was replicated 4 time. The parameters on this research were feed consumption, body weight gain and feed efficiency. Data were analyzed with of variance and difference between the treatments was analyzed by Duncan Multiple Range Test. The research indicated that lysine supplementation significantly influenced to the feed consumption, body weight gain and feed efficiency (P<0,05). The lowest of feed consumption was found at 0,015% level of lysine. The highest of body weight gain and feed efficiency was found at 0,015% level of lysine. It was concluded that 0,015% lysine supplementation give the best result on performance Arabian chick starter phase.
