Abstract

This study aims to develop songs with animal-themed acoustic music for children aged (4-5) years in kindergarten that have been tested for validity and practicality. This research development model uses the ADDIE method (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate), and Tessmer's formative evaluation with the stages of self evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation and small group. Data analysis techniques are interviews, observations and checklists. The results showed that the material validity was 90% and the media validity was 96%. The average product validity was 93% with a very valid category. The one to one evaluation stage involved three children with 88.6% results and the small group evaluation stage involved nine children with 93.8% results, from both of them obtained an average of 91.2% with a very practical category. It can be concluded that the development of songs with acoustic music for children aged 4-5 years is declared valid and practical and suitable for learning.
