Abstract

Teknologi memberikan perubahan disemua aspek kehidupan termasuk dalam bisnis dan juga perdagangan. Teknologi yang hadir dalam bisnis dan perdagangan salah satunya adalah e-commerce. E-commerce akan memberikan kebermanfaatan bagi para penggunanya apabila dimanfaatkan secara optimal, khususnya bagi para pelaku usaha kecil. Penelitian ini menganalisa dampak implementasi e-commerce dalam upaya penguatan daya saing industri kecil yang ada di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Data yang diambil langsung dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik dengan studi komparatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa UMKM yang menerapkan e-commerce dalam usahanya memiliki indeks daya saing yang lebih tinggi, jumlah pendapatan dan profit yang lebih besar, serta jumlah produksi lebih banyak atau produktivitas yang lebih tinggi. dibandingkan UMKM yang belum menerapkan layanan e-commerce.
