Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran audio-visual terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 3 Lais. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre experiment dengan metode statistik deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini ada peserta didik kelas VII dengan jumlah 160 dan diambil sampel sebanyak satu kelas berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sample menggunakan purposive sample. Pengambilan data melalui teknik Dokumentasi, Observasi dan Angket. Hasil penelitian ini dilakukan melalui Paired Sample test dilihat dari nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.50 menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara variabel awal dengan variabel akhir. Hal ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap perbedaan perlakuan yang diberikan pada masing-masing variabel. dengan demikian kesimpulanya yaitu hipotesis (Ha) diterima dan (H0) ditolak artinya penggunaan media pembelajaran Audio-visual sangat efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 3 Lais. Kata Kunci : Efektivitas, Audio-Visual, Hasil Belajar
