Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the effect of serving distance alteration exercises on the accuracy of serving on volleyball at the Purnajaya club. The quasi-experimental procedure is the procedure used in this research which applies an unreal experiment. One group pretest and posttest in this research act as research design. The sum of all the illustrations of performing a service test on volleyball as a research instrument. Based on the results of analysis and processing of information through the calculation of the information normality test and hypothesis testing or basic assumptions through the t-test formula, it was found that the service distance alternation exercise had an effect on increasing the accuracy of serving on volleyball. The results information analysis were obtained from the calculation of the t-test formula with the t-count criteria t-table (16.94 > 1.7) with a confidence level of 0.95 (α = 0.05) and had as many research objects (N = 35). Thus, research on serving distance alternation exercises has an effect on increasing the accuracy of the top serve in the volleyball athletes of the Purnajaya club.
