Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of the CIRC Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class X Social Studies Students in Economics at UPT SMA Negeri 4 Pagaralam. This research is an experimental research with Pre-Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study was class X IPS UPT SMA Negeri 4 Pagar Alam and the sample in this study was class X IPS 3 which involved 33 students as the experimental class. The sampling technique used was the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in the form of tests and observations. Data analysis techniques for student learning outcomes were obtained from the pretest and posttest, and observational data analysis was obtained from observations when applying the CIRC learning model. The hypothesis using parametric statistics, namely the t-test using Paired Samples T-test, obtained t_count < t_table, namely -26.590 <1.998, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the CIRC Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class X Social Studies Students in Economics Subjects at UPT SMA Negeri 4 Pagaralam. It is recommended that in applying the CIRC learning model, student must be more enthusiastic and more active in group learning in order to improve learning outcomes in accordance with learning objectives.
