Abstract

This research was motivated by the many educational and training activities carried out by the Palembang Religious Training Center (BDK) during the 2020-2021 pandemic. The type of training activities carried out is educational and religious technical training. The purpose of this study is to find out how these training activities can be carried out in 2020-2021. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and for data collection techniques using interview, documentation and observation techniques. The discussion is directed to find out the facts that actually happened about how the educational and religious technical training activities in 2020-2021 were carried out. The results of this study show that educational and religious technical training activities in 2020-2021 at the Palembang Religious Training Center (BDK) have not been fully implemented. This is because, there are three aspects that have not been optimally implemented. The aspects in question are planning, implementation or actuating, and supervision. In the planning aspect, there is a delay in education and training activities (training), in the aspect of implementing or actuating, the implementation of education and training (training) is not conducive with the distance learning method (PJJ) and in the supervision aspect, the period of non-maximum period of granting participant certificates as a result of educational and training activities (training) obtained by participants. The results of the study suggest that the implementation of training from BDK Palembang should need to adjust the timing of scheduling activities that are not too many at one time, find out directly to participants if participants experience problems in participating in training, notify participants periodically to take certificates, and make alternative certificates that are made and can be send online.
