Abstract

Sriwijaya University Learning Management System is a learning platform carried out online through a particular portal or application. Sriwijaya University has facilitated learning activities between students and lecturers online through the E-Learning portal of Sriwijaya University. This study tried to find out the students' perceptions toward online learning using UNSRI E-Learning. The population of the study was two hundred ninety-seven (297), from the population, samples were taken using purposive sampling, with a sample of two hundred twenty-three (223) students in English education study program from three different semesters were chosen as the sample. The data were collected using the questionnaire. The questionnaire was given to the students online and recorded their responses in the Google form with 15 items and a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire ranging from (1) strongly disagree to (4) strongly agree, a quantitative descriptive approach was used. The data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Ms. Excel to process the questionnaire responses. The results showed that the second, fourth and sixth semester students had similar perceptions. The responses of the questionnaire from all the participants showed that most of the students had good perceptions on online reading learning through UNSRI E-Learning with percentage of 63.68% (142 students).
