Abstract

This research is entitled “Community Adaptation In The Mids Of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Ogan Baru Village, Kertapati District, Palembang City. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive study, while the number of informants in this study was thirteen informants who were selected purposively. Structural Functionalism from Talcott Parsons has two types of data sources, namely primary data sources consisting of the people of Kelurahan Ogan Baru, Head of Lurah and government or related agencies and secondary data sources obtained from documents related to research. Ogan Baru, Kertapati District, Palembang City, in adapting in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, there were several changes that occurred including changes in social and economic life. In addition, there were several obstacles that occurred during adaptation in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The obstacles that occur are internal and external barriers.
