Abstract
This research aimed to determine the factors that cause learning difficulties in the accounting practicum course for Economic Education students at Sriwijaya University. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, so that a sample of 72 students was obtained from all members of the population as many as 138 students. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach that uses data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The results of the study indicate the factors that cause student learning difficulties in this accounting practicum course are the student's intelligence factor with a percentage of 66% categorized as sufficient, the student's motivation/interest in learning factor with a percentage of 56% categorized as less, the study place factor (Economics Education Study Program) with a percentage of 62 % is categorized as sufficient, the family factor is categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 65%, and the technical difficulty factor is categorized as sufficient with a percentage of 67%. Overall learning difficulties in the accounting practicum courses for Economic Education students at Sriwijaya University, seen from the aspects of these learning difficulties factors, got an average of 63% with sufficient category (60%-75%).
