Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola asuh orang tua terhadap anak berprestasi di sekolah (Studi kasus di MTsN 2 Muara Enim). Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep pola asuh menurut Elizabeth B. Hurlock. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di Jalan Baturaja RT. 5 Dusun II Desa Keban Agung Kecamatan Lawang Kidul Kabupaten Muara Enim. Penentuan informan secara purposive. Unit analisis yang digunakan adalah getting in, getting along, getting out. Pada penelitian ini strategi yang digunakan studi kasus. Teknik pemeriksaan dan keabsahan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data yaitu proses analisis sebelum ke lapangan reduksi data, penyajian data dan pemeriksaan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Secara singkat hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa pola asuh yang di terapkan orang tua terhadap anak berprestasi di sekolah yaitu menerapkan pola asuh yang bervariasi, yaitu pola asuh demokratis dan pola asuh permisif.
