Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the effect of using fermented cassava in diets of performans laying hens production phase I. The research was carried in Cambai, Prabumulih, South Sumatera . Started from June unti! October, 2004. The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design with four treatments and five replications. Fermented cassava in ration at level of R0 (0 % Fermented Cassava), RI (2,5 % Fermented Cassava), R2 (5 % Fermented Cassava) and R3 (7,5 % Fermented Cassava) as treatment. Parameters observed were feed intake, egg production, egg weight and feed conversion. The results showed that used 7,5 % fermented cassava in diets can lessen cost diets and was no significantly dilferent to feed intake, egg production, egg weight and feed conversion.
