Abstract
Land use one tidal lands in sulphide shallow alluvial peat typology with substratum marine clay. The characteristics of the land that became an issue in the development of agriculture in tidal lands, among others, the high acidity of the soil, the influence of salt water intrusion, and low natural fertility of the soil. Therefore, this research aims to know the influence of ameliorate, fertilizer N and K to changes some of the chemical properties of soil and growth of cotton plants (Gossypium hirsutum L.) on the soil of marine clay. This research method using Random Group Design with 5 treatments and 3 groups. The treatments were control (K0), empty Palm bunches compost 2 ton/ha or 80 g/polybag (K1), KCl 0.025 ton/ha or 1 g/poly bag (K2), Urea 0.091 ton/ha or 3.64 g/poly bag (K3), and lime dolomite 0.5 ton/ha or 20 g/poly bag (K4). The result from this research showed that treatment of the application amelioran, fertilizer N and K giving a real effec to pH (6,06), and Ca-dd (49,19 cmol kg-1), The best treatment on the application of the dolomite
