Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of communication and teamwork on employee performance in Ilir Barat 1 Palembang. The sampling technique was carried out using a questionnaire. The population taken is all employees of the Ilir Barat 1 Palembang District Office, namely 123 people. The entire population was used as the research sample. The data analysis technique in this study used Multiple Linear Regression analysis with 1) quantitative descriptive analysis; 2) Variable Partial Test (t-test); 3) Research Model Suitability Test (F-Test); 4) Correlation Coefficient (r); and 5) Coefficient of Determination (R 2 ). Linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The test results show that 1) Communication and Teamwork have a significant positive effect on Employee Performance at the Ilir Barat 1 Palembang District Office; 2) Communication has no positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Ilir Barat 1 Palembang District Office; and 3) Teamwork has a significant positive effect on employee performance at the Ilir Barat 1 Palembang District Office.
