Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect speech (speech delay). Problems that occur in children is a serious problem that must be done immediately because there is one problem that occurs in children. Word delays can be used from the accuracy of word usage, which is marked by an unclear pronunciation and in context can only use Sign language, parents and people here can not understand children, even if you can understand what people are talking about. Delay Talk (speech delay) in children is the level of development that occurs below the level of quality of speech development of children of the same age that can be used from the accuracy of the use of the word. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. For the analysis is to cancel talk (speech delay). The speakers in this study encouraged 2 people namely primary speakers (subject mothers) and 1 secondary informant (Teacher Play Group (PG)). Data collection techniques in this study using interviewing techniques, documentation and documentation. The results showed that there were factors that reached the children's speech delay which occurred on the subject in this case of intelligence, the position of the order of the child, the value of the family, the social economic status, the race, two, the very noise, and style of speech, relationships with peers. With these factors there are factors that are the findings in this study that the pattern of foster habits and relationships with customers who rarely communicate.
