Abstract

This study examines the Implementation of Health Protocol Discipline Enforcement Policies in the Context of Prevention and Control of Corona Virus Disease 2019 at the Palembang City Regional Secretariat in 2021. The background of this research problem is that the health protocols at the Palembang City Regional Secretariat office were not followed properly, many employees ignored health protocols and inadequate health protocol facilities and existing facilities were rarely used. This research uses the theory of Randall B. Ripley and Grance A. Franklin which consists of 3 dimensions, namely the level of compliance, smooth routine functioning and the absence of problems and the realization of desired performance and impact. The type of research used is descriptive with qualitative research methods. Based on data analysis, the implementation of health protocol policies at the Palembang City Regional Secretariat is not going well. Health protocol facilities are inadequate and existing facilities are not used properly. Parties involved in policies such as the covid-19 task force have not carried out their duties to the fullest.. The results of this study recommend that the implementation of health protocol policies be further improved in terms of providing facilities and discipline of employees of the Palembang City Regional Secretariat.
