Abstract

This research entitled is " The influence of effectiveness movie trailer on YouTube towards movie going decision Milca : The Voice of Dilan " by Fadilah Nur Fajrin . The study aims to find out wether there is influence of effetiveness movie trailer on YouTube towards moviegoing decision Milea : The Voice of Dilan and how much that influence had given . This research applied quantitative approach with descriptive and inferential statistics analysis . and used simple linear regression model to make predictions . Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 70 respondents of college student majoring Communication in Sriwijaya University . The findings from the data analysis in this study were obtained through hypothesis testing using ftest that teale is greater than ftable , where fcale 3.765 > ftable 2.346 . which means there is an influence of attractiveness movie trailer on YouTube towards moviegoing decision Milea : The Voice of Dilun , and the influence given is 15.6 % where the rest is influenced by other factors , The linear regression fitted model obtained is Y = 37.50 + 0,330 which means that for each additional value of effectiveness movie trailer , movie going decision making value will increase about 0,330 time among college student majoring Communication in Sriwijaya University .
