Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the benefits of PT Tel pulp and paper's corporate social responsibility program for the social - economic life of the people of Banuayu Village , Empat Petulai Dangku District , Muara Enim Regency . The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method . Data collection techniques were carried out by observation , interviews , and documentation . There are seven informants in this study consisting of key informants , main informants and supporting informants . This study used John Elkington's theory which is Triple Bottom Line Theory who put forward the concept of " 3 P " . The result of this study indicate that the people of Banuayu Village , Empat Petulai Dangku District , Muara Enim Regency really feel the benefits both in social and economic life from the corporate social responsibility program carried out by PT Tanjungenim Lestari ( TeL ) Pulp and Paper . The benefits felt by the people of Banuayu Village in social life are benefits in education , benefits in the health sector , benefits in religion , benefits in infrastructure and benefits in environment . While the benefits felt by the people of Banuayu Village in economic life are training and community empowerment , and the aquaculture business group programs .
