Abstract

This research aims to produce the teaching materials of equation of a straight line based on Android for Problem Based Learning (PBL) that are valid and practical in 8th grade. This kind of research is development research with development procedures according to Tessmer, namely the preliminary stage and the formative evaluation stage. The data collection technique of this research is through walkthrough, observation, and questionnaire. The results of this research is the teaching materials on equation of a straight line based on Android for Problem Based Learning (PBL) that are valid and practical. This teaching materials on equation of a straight line is declared valid in terms of content, construct, and language based on the results of the validation and one-to-one stage. The practicality of this teaching materials is assessed from the results of observations and questionnaires on small group stage. Based on the results of observations and questionnaires obtained an average percentages are 88% and 87.33% showed that this teaching materials on equation of a straight line is very practical.
