Abstract

Jumlah penduduk Indonesia tahun 2010 beijumlah sekitar 237,6 juta jiwa. Salah satu upaya menurunkan jumlah kelahiran dengan program keluarga berencana, diantaranya dengan menggunakan alat kontrasepsi pil KB. Menurut BKKBN sampai dengan bulan Mei 2011, jumlah peserta pil KB berada diurutan kedua terbanyak di Indonesia dan di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi dan faktor yang paling mempengaruhi penggunaan pil KB di Kecamatan Kemuning Palembang Periode 1 Januari 2010-31 Desember 2010. Penelitian cross sectional ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Basuki Rahmat Kecamatan Kemuning Palembang dimulai pada bulan Oktober sampai November 2011. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh wanita usia reproduksi yang datang ke Puskesmas Kecamatan Kemuning Palembang pada periode 1 Januari 2010-31 Desember 2010. Sampel beijumlah 174 orang yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Analisis statistik yang dilakukan yaitu analisis univariat, bivariat, dan multivariate menggunakan SPSS versi 18 Prevalensi penggunaan pil KB adalah 29.31 %. Paritas (p = 1.000), usia (p = 0.178), pekerjaan (p = 0.330) dan pendidikan (p = 0.733) mempunyai hubungan yang tidak bermakna dengan penggunaan pil KB. Pada hasil analisis faktor yang paling mempengaruhi penggunaan pil KB didapatkan bahwa paritas menjadi faktor protektif dalam penggunaan pil KB Prevalensi penggunaan pil KB adalah 29.31 %. Faktor paritas, usia ,pekeijaan, dan pendidikan memiliki hubungan yang tidak bermakna. Pada hasil analisis faktor yang paling mempengaruhi penggunaan pil KB didapatkan bahwa paritas menjadi faktor protektif dalam penggunaan pil KB.
